The full name of the disease known as reflux is Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). It is a chronic disease caused by stomach acid refluxing into the esophagus. Acid reflux escaping into the esophagus causes signs and symptoms. The most typical symptoms are a burning sensation in the chest and bitter water in the mouth.
Having complaints such as burning in the chest and bitter water in the mouth almost every day;
• Esophagitis or gastric hernia detected in endoscopy
• Surgery is the appropriate treatment method for patients who use drugs for a long time and are drug-dependent.
Many surgical techniques have been defined as Reflux Surgery. I frequently perform Laparoscopic Nissen Fundoplication and Laparoscopic Toupe Fundoplication to my patients.
